Ryesgade6

Rooms for psychotherapy in Copenhagen

Ryesgade 6 is a house by the lakes with private rooms suited to talking therapy. You book by the hour with tokens — no subscription, lock-in or deposit.

What psychotherapy asks of a room

Psychotherapy is talking treatment where client and practitioner work through thoughts, feelings and patterns across a series of sessions. Cognitive, psychodynamic, gestalt, couples work, body-oriented practice: whatever the modality, the room has to do the same job. Quiet, discreet and predictable. A session interrupted by noise from next door, or by a client who cannot find the door, costs trust that takes time to rebuild.

What you can count on

There is a waiting area where your clients can wait.

The door has a keypad lock, and you receive the code by email.

There are no cameras in the rooms.

What we provide

Quiet around the conversation

The rooms sit in a coworking space with neighbours doing the same kind of work. No open-plan offices, no through traffic.

A waiting area

Your client can arrive a little early and sit somewhere calm, rather than waiting on the street or in a stairwell.

Predictable access

You get a door code for your booking. No reception to negotiate, no keys to collect.

Book whole hours

You book from 1 to 9 hours at a time. One hour fits a standard 50 to 60 minute session, and if you need longer you book several consecutive hours.

Only pay for what you use

Three clients a week means three bookings. You are not committing to a whole room.

Central, by the lakes

Ryesgade 6, 2200 København N. Easy to reach by public transport for you and your clients.

How it works

You create an account, buy tokens and book the hours you need. Room 5B is set up for therapy and costs 8 tokens an hour, or DKK 80. For the whole day it is 48 tokens, 08:00 to 17:00. You can cancel or move a booking up to 23 hours before and your tokens go back to your account. Availability is visible without an account.

Questions about renting for psychotherapy

You are responsible for your own authorisation and for registering your place of treatment where required. We rent out the room; we do not provide treatment.
