Terms
Terms of Service
These terms apply when you buy tokens and book rooms at Ryesgade6. You accept them when you complete a purchase or a booking.
1. Who you are dealing with
Ryesgade6 ApS
Schleppegrellsgade 10, kl., 2200 København N
CVR no. 40938516
info@ryesgade6.dk, phone +45 53 56 08 99
The address above is the company's registered address. The rooms you book are at Ryesgade 6, 2200 København N. That is the address in your booking confirmation and the one to turn up at.
2. What you are buying
You are buying tokens. A token is a prepaid unit you spend on bookings. One token is worth 10 DKK. Each room costs a set number of tokens per hour and a set number for a day pass, and the price is shown next to the room when you book.
Tokens work in every room. They are not money, they cannot be transferred to anyone else, and they cannot be exchanged for cash. They let you book available times, but they do not reserve a particular room or time in advance.
The number of tokens, the price and the validity period of each package are shown before you pay.
3. Prices and VAT
All prices are in Danish kroner and without VAT. Letting rooms is exempt from VAT under section 13(1)(8) of the Danish VAT Act. No VAT is added to the amount you see, and no VAT appears on your invoice. In return, you cannot deduct VAT from the amount if you are buying as a business.
We may change prices and packages. A change takes effect only once it is published, and it does not affect tokens you have already bought or bookings you have already made.
4. Launch offer
The first 10 customers get 40 % more tokens for the same price on their first purchase. You pay the normal price, and the bonus tokens are added on top of the number of tokens in the package. Bonus tokens belong to the same purchase as the rest of the package and are valid for the same period. The offer applies once per customer, only to customers who have not bought from us before, and ends once the10 places are used. The refund terms for tokens from a launch-offer purchase are in the payment clause.
5. Payment
Payment is made online through our payment provider Stripe, which accepts cards, MobilePay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal. You enter your payment details directly with Stripe. We never receive or store your card details.
Your tokens are on your account as soon as the payment goes through. You receive a receipt and an invoice by email.
Tokens bought in a launch-offer purchase, bonus tokens included, are not refunded in cash, except where mandatory law gives you a right to a refund (for example the statutory right of withdrawal).
6. Validity and expiry
Tokens expire 90 days after the day you buy them. The validity period is shown on the package before you pay, and on your account afterwards. If you buy more than once, each purchase has its own expiry date, and we always spend the tokens that expire soonest first.
We send an email reminder before tokens expire. Expired tokens lapse and are not refunded.
7. Booking
- You can book by the hour or buy a day pass covering 08:00 to 17:00 on the same day. A day pass costs less than the same hours bought separately.
- A single booking can cover at most 9 hours. If you need more, make several bookings.
- You can book from 2 hours before the start and up to 60 days ahead.
- Some rooms are available only on particular weekdays. The calendar shows this when you pick a room.
- When you select a time we hold it for 12 minutes while you finish the booking. If you do not finish, the time is released.
- The booking is binding, and the tokens are spent, once you have the confirmation email.
8. Cancellation and rescheduling
You can cancel free of charge until 23 hours before the booking starts. Your tokens go back to your account and can be used again, as long as they have not expired.
Cancel later than that, or fail to turn up, and your tokens are spent. They are not returned.
You can move a booking within the same deadline if the new time costs the same as the old one. If it costs something different, cancel and book again.
9. Right of withdrawal
If you are buying as a private individual, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal on your purchase of tokens under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act. The period runs from the day you buy. Write to info@ryesgade6.dk within the period and we refund the tokens you have not used.
If you spent tokens on a booking during those 14 days, that part cannot be withdrawn. You asked us to make the room available at a particular time, so the service has been supplied.
If you are buying as a business, the right of withdrawal does not apply. The rules protect consumers, not businesses.
10. Getting in
- You get in using the code for the keypad lock by the door. The code is in the access email, which we send the day before your booking (or immediately if you book at short notice).
- The code is the same for everyone using the building. Do not share it with anyone beyond the people you bring into the room yourself, and do not write it down where others can see it.
- Close the door behind you when you leave. If you are the last one in the building, check that the door is locked.
- You have access only during the time you booked. Both settling in and packing up have to fit inside it.
11. Using the rooms
- Leave the room the way you would want to find it.
- No smoking, e-cigarettes included.
- Several of the rooms are used for confidential conversations. Keep your voice down in the hallway and keep the door closed.
- The rooms are for meetings, conversations, treatment and focused work. They are not for parties, overnight stays or subletting.
- You may not use the address as your company's registered or postal address.
If these terms are seriously abused we may refuse a booking or close an account. If we do, we refund any unused tokens.
12. Your responsibility and ours
You are responsible for damage that you, or anyone you let in, cause to the room or its furnishings. We look after the building, but we are not responsible for your or your guests' belongings.
If a room unexpectedly cannot be made available, for example after damage or a breakdown, we offer you another available room or return your tokens. Our liability is limited to the value of the tokens that booking cost. We are not liable for indirect losses, including lost income or appointments you have to cancel with your own clients.
You need whatever insurance your work requires. We do not insure your equipment or your liability towards your own clients.
13. If you use the room for your own clients
If you rent a room to see your own clients, the agreement with them is yours. You are responsible for what you provide, for your authorisation or membership if your profession requires one, for your record-keeping obligations, and for handling your clients' information lawfully. We let you a room and do not become a party to your relationship with your clients.
Do not put information about your clients in booking notes or in emails to us. We have no use for it and it does not belong in our system. There is more about this in our privacy policy.
14. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. Changes do not apply to bookings you have already made or tokens you have already bought. We give notice of material changes by email before they take effect.
15. If you want to complain
Write to info@ryesgade6.dk first. We answer as quickly as we can, and we would rather sort it out directly.
If you are a private individual and we cannot agree, you can complain to the Danish Consumer Complaints Board, Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, naevneneshus.dk. Value limits apply to the cases the board can hear.
16. Governing law
The agreement is governed by Danish law and disputes are settled by the Danish courts. If you are a consumer, you can always bring a case in your own local court.
